Classroom AV Support

Most general-purpose classrooms are equipped with reliable AV systems. Here’s what you can expect:

  • In-room speakers
  • Projector
  • At least one HDMI cable provided at the instructor station
  • Depending on the room, a classroom computer may also be present

Not sure what’s in your room? Call us ahead of time, and we’ll gladly check for you!

Reminder: If your device doesn’t have an HDMI port, please bring an adapter (e.g., USB-C to HDMI or Mini DisplayPort to HDMI).

Test Before You Teach

We strongly recommend that instructors and presenters visit their assigned classroom the week before classes or scheduled events. This allows you to:

  • Troubleshoot early with our team’s help
  • Test the AV setup
  • Get comfortable with the technology

Different Classroom Spaces

While we provide support for the majority of general-use classrooms, some rooms are managed directly by CU Denver, MSU Denver, or CCD.

If you reach out to us about one of those spaces, don’t worry — we’ll transfer your request to the correct team.

Accessibility Requests

Please contact your institution’s accessibility office for any ADA-related requests.

Note: ADA furniture provided through Classroom Support is for student use only. For employee accommodations, please reach out to your Human Resources department.
