City and County of Denver Annual Alert and Warning Test

The City and County of Denver will be conducting its live Outdoor Warning Siren and Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) test on Wednesday, May 13, at 11:00 am.

During the test, all 86 outdoor warning sirens will sound for approximately three minutes. The closest siren to the Auraria Campus is located at Elitch Gardens. At the same time, a test WEA will be sent to WEA-enabled mobile devices within the City and County of Denver.

Please note this test DOES NOT require any actions, it is just a test.
