Denver Food and Wine Festival to be Hosted on the Auraria Campus Tivoli Quad, Sept 3-7, 2025

The annual Denver Food and Wine Festival will be hosted on the Tivoli Quad this week, bringing exciting events, food, and activity to campus. Please review the following important information about event dates, campus activity, and parking closures.

Event Schedule & Campus Impacts

  • Wednesday, September 3
    • Load-in begins. Fencing will be placed around the Tivoli Quad perimeter, and tents will be installed.
    • Expect increased activity in the Tivoli Quad and surrounding areas.
  • Thursday, September 4
    • Load-in continues.
    • The Shake and Breakdown event takes place in the evening, featuring food trucks.
    • Around 4:00 p.m., food trucks will begin loading into the event space. Please use caution around the Tivoli Quad.
  • Friday, September 5
    • Reset day – no public activities.
  • Saturday, September 6
    • Grand Tasting (Main Event): 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. on the Tivoli Quad.
    • Load-out begins immediately following the event.
  • Sunday, September 7
    • Load-out concludes.

Parking Closures & Meter Bagging

  • Wednesday, September 3
    • Meters along 11th Street (11th & Walnut to 11th & Larimer).
  • Thursday, September 4
    • All meters along Tivoli Quad bagged (10th & Walnut to 11th & Walnut).
    • 11th Street meters (11th & Walnut to 11th & Larimer).
  • Friday, September 5
    • Same as Thursday.
  • Saturday, September 6
    • All meters along Tivoli Quad bagged (10th & Walnut to 11th & Walnut).
    • 11th Street meters (11th & Walnut to 11th & Larimer).
    • Walnut Street is closed from 10th & Walnut to 11th & Walnut.
    • 5 additional meters bagged along Walnut (Walnut Lawn side).
  • Sunday, September 7
    • No meters bagged.

Reminder: Please plan accordingly for parking and pedestrian impacts. Use extra caution around the Tivoli Quad and surrounding streets during load-in, active event hours, and load-out.
