Parking Adds Overnight Permit Option
The Auraria Campus Parking and Transportation office is excited to share an important update about parking options available at Auraria Campus that will benefit campus staff, faculty, and students who need overnight access to campus parking.
Overnight Parking Permits
Overnight Permits are now available for eligible campus community members. These permits provide authorized overnight access in designated campus garages, giving greater flexibility for those who regularly stay on campus after typical business hours.
Overnight Permits are:
- Available to all campus staff, faculty, and students
- Not customizable for specific days, they are structured as a semester-based, full-time permit only
- Managed through the regular permit sales processes
- Required for overnight stays; overnight parking without authorization remains prohibited and enforced across campus facilities
Where Overnight Permits Can Be Used
Overnight Permits are valid only in the following campus parking garages:
- 5th Street Garage
- 7th Street Garage
- Tivoli Garage
These garages will allow permit holders to park overnight within, ensuring your vehicle remains secure and compliant.
Pricing for Permits
Overnight Permit pricing follows the same rate structure as the Gold Passport but is location specific.
This approach aligns with current permit pricing mechanisms on campus and offers a clear, streamlined option for those needing regular overnight parking.
How to Obtain Your Overnight Permit
To purchase an Overnight Permit, eligible staff, faculty, and students must:
Visit the online permit portal: Parking Permits – Auraria Campus
