Traffic Impacts: Walnut St. & 10th St. Lane Closures (May 5–20)

Due to utility work associated with the MSU Denver Housing & Retail Building project, lane closures will be in place from May 5 through May 20, 2026.

This work is part of Phase 1 of a two-phase permanent power installation by Xcel Energy, focused on boring operations in the area.

Impacted Areas:

• Walnut St. at 10th St. intersection
• 10th St. (northbound lane)
• Auraria Pkwy (single right lane)

What to Expect:

• Phased lane closures
• Traffic control measures, including signage and flaggers
• Periods of noise during excavation

Access:
Access to the Tivoli Garage will be maintained. Delays are possible—please allow extra travel time.
