Upcoming AurariaNet Wireless Network Expansion
The Auraria Campus Information Technology team will have an upcoming expansion to the AurariaNet wireless network to additional buildings on campus. Starting late Tuesday, June 10, into Wednesday June 11, AurariaNet will be instituted in the Early Learning Center, Facilities Services and Facilities Services Annex buildings, St. Cajetan’s, Rectory, and Golda Meir House buildings.
As a reminder, AurariaNet has been widely instituted on campus since July 1 of last year, and most buildings have the AurariaNet network already in use. This means that a majority of the campus population should already be connected to this network. This update adds these buildings to the network.
If you are having trouble connecting to AurariaNet in any of these buildings, please follow the steps below to connect to the network:
To sign in on a computer:
- Click on the internet icon on the Wi-Fi icon in the top right (Mac) or bottom right (PC) menu.
- Select the AurariaNet option.
- Enter your full institution-specific email and password.
- Auraria Campus employees must use last name first initial @ahec.edu to login
- Select “connect automatically” so you will not have to enter your login details again.
To sign in on a cellphone:
- Go to the settings and click “Wi-Fi.”
- Select the AurariaNet option.
- Enter your full institution-specific email and password.
- Auraria Campus employees must use last name first initial @ahec.edu to login
- Most phones will remember a network you log into, so you won’t need to log in again.
