Auraria Campus Framework Plan Information
Introduction
The Auraria Campus Master Plan is the long-term vision for the physical environment of the campus and establishes overall goals, objectives, and design principles that serve as a framework for future growth. It proposes a new collaborative approach to project planning that seeks to maximize critical resources and provides institutional leadership with a valuable tool to make decisions regarding the improvement of campus space.
Approval of the plan by the Auraria Board of Directors means it will serve as the Facilities Framework Plan of record for all three higher education institutions (Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State University Denver, and University of Colorado Denver) and the Auraria Higher Education Center. This would satisfy the Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE) requirement, which allows us to submit Capital Construction State Funding requests for the next ten years.
