Inclement Weather Closures

Inclement weather decisions are made collaboratively by members of the Auraria Campus Weather Team, which includes Auraria Campus, CCD, MSU Denver, and CU Denver. Campus closure or delay decisions are based on weather information and forecasts provided by the National Weather Service (NWS) in Boulder.

Before and during a storm, Auraria Campus OEM participates in public-safety conference calls with the NWS and consults with Auraria Campus Facilities Services to assess the information and evaluate the team’s ability to maintain campus accessibility and safety.
