Policy Manual
The Auraria Campus Police Department (ACPD) uses the Lexipol Policy Manual system. Lexipol’s Policy Manual system offers a framework containing state and federal regulations, case law, industry best standards, and the uniqueness of individual law enforcement agencies. The ACPD Policy Manual is subject to frequent updates as regulations change. When an update is needed, Lexipol creates it. The ACPD also has the flexibility to adjust policies so that they are in alignment with the department’s standards for responsible policing on campus. The ACPD Policy Manual is digital, allowing officers to access it in the field on any mobile device.
ACPD worked with the MSU Denver Center for Multicultural Engagement and Inclusion (CMEI) to identify policies of specific interest to the Auraria Campus Community. Those policies and the ACPD Policy Manual Table of Contents are posted below. Please submit a Records Request if you are interested in additional policies. The ACPD will email you a digital copy at no cost.
