12th Street to be Closed Tuesday, Oct. 27

Due to heavy bus traffic from an event hosted at the CU Denver Wellness & Recreation Center, 12th Street on the Auraria Campus will be closed Tuesday, Oct. 27.

The Special Olympics Colorado 2026 Youth Summit is expected to close the street from approximately 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. that day.

Signage will be in place to denote the closure. Outside of the closure, the campus community should expect heavy bus traffic around that area throughout the day.

We apologize for any inconvenience during this time, and appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Thank you,
