Changes to Park Mobile Fees

Upcoming Changes to ParkMobile Fees for Non-Affiliated Parkers

Dear Campus Community,

Beginning August 18th, 2025, ParkMobile will implement a variable fee structure for non-affiliated parkers for campus parking for all transactions: Daily Rate, Metered, Events, and Night and Weekend.

What’s Changing?

To better manage parking resources and prioritize student, faculty, and staff (affiliated) parking, non-affiliated visitors (i.e., those not associated with the Auraria Campus, those with non-registered vehicles) will now incur the following fees when parking on campus through ParkMobile with all transactions:

  • Daily Rate
  • Gold Daily Rate
  • Silver Daily Rate
  • Bronze Daily Rate
  • ParkMobile Metered Transactions
  • Event Parking
  • Increased rates of parking during specific events
  • Night and Weekend Parking
  • Monday – Thursday from 5PM – 12AM
  • Friday – Sunday All Day

New Non-Affiliated Fee Structure:

  • The normal minimum transaction fee of $0.45 will be applied to each transaction, or an additional 10% convenience fee of the total parking rate, whichever is higher.

What Stays the Same?

Students, Faculty, and Staff (Affiliated Parkers) using ParkMobile:

  • Affiliated parkers will continue to pay only the standard $0.45 transaction fee
  • No added percentage-based fees during Daily Rates, Metered, Events, or Night and Weekend transactions
  • Parking and Transportation Services does NOT receive any revenue from fees associated with ParkMobile transactions

Vehicle Registration

Parking and Transportation Services provides students, staff, and faculty the ability to avoid parking rate increases during Events or Nights and Weekends via a vehicle registration. Active students, staff, and faculty can register two vehicles utilizing a current Auraria Campus ID and vehicle information, these registrations will take a minimum of 2-3 business days to be updated in the systems.

Registrations work within the pay stations located in the garages and daily fee lots and work within the ParkMobile mobile app. Regardless of purchasing a permit or passport through Parking and Transportation Services, to receive daily rate parking in the lots and garages, vehicles must be registered.
