Christkindlmarket and Mile High Tree Return to Auraria Campus for the 2026 Holiday Season, November 20th!
The holiday season is returning to Auraria Campus! The Denver Christkindlmarket and Mile High Tree will once again bring festive traditions, seasonal food and drinks, local vendors, entertainment, and holiday experiences to campus. Whether you’re visiting the market, taking in the lights, or spending time downtown for the holidays, Auraria Campus is excited to welcome visitors throughout the season.

Parking
There is an abundance of parking options on the Auraria Campus, with parking rates for the Christkindl Market starting at just $10!

Parking on the Auraria Campus is easy through the ParkMobile app! Plan your spot and pay with ParkMobile before heading to Auraria Campus for the Christkindlmarket & Mile High Tree.
Parking can be completed in three easy steps:

- Choose – Review the available parking options and select the location and price that is right for you

Campus Impacts
During the duration of the market, from set-up to tear down, there will be multiple impacts to campus around where the market will be staged on the Tivoli Quad. Set-up begins Monday, November 2.

Parking
For the duration of the event (Nov. 20-Dec. 31) there will be special event pricing in all Auraria Campus parking garages and lots. These prices will be $10 for all parking lots, $15 for 5th Street and 7th Street garage, and $30 for Tivoli Garage. To avoid paying these elevated rates, it is essential to register your car with the Parking & Transportation Office HERE.
The event hours are below. Please note that during these times, the parking lots and garages may be busier than usual due to market traffic, so please plan accordingly:
Monday – Thursday: 1 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Friday – Sunday: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Road & Sidewalk Closures
With the event taking place on the Tivoli Quad, there will be multiple street and sidewalk closures starting with load-in Monday, Nov. 2:
Road Closures
- 11th Street between Walnut and Larimer will be closed from November 2 – January 9
- Walnut Street between 10th and 11th will be closed November 9 – December 28
- Larimer Street west of 12th will be closed to through traffic from November 2 – January 9
- Access to parking meters on Larimer, as well as 11th Street between the Events Center and North Classroom will remain open.
Sidewalk Closures
- The WEST sidewalk on 11th Street between Walnut and Larimer will be offline from November 2 – January 9.
- The sidewalk along Walnut Street between 10th and 11th will be offline between November 9 – December 28.
Yellow: Road closures (Larimer only closed to through traffic)
Red: Walkways that will still remain accessible once the event perimeter is set
RTD Bus Stops
Due to the road closures around the market, RTD bus routes on campus, specifically the 12th and Larimer stop, may be impacted. Please refer to the RTD Website or the RTD App for the latest information.
