Denver Food & Wine Event-Campus Impact Notice

August 26–30, 2026 | Tivoli Quad

The Denver Food & Wine Festival returns to the Auraria Campus Tivoli Quad August 26–30. As event setup and load-in will occur while classes are in session, the campus community should be aware of temporary parking meter impacts, increased vehicle activity and a street closure in and around the Tivoli Quad.

Please use caution when traveling through the area, particularly during event load-in and load-out.

Wednesday, August 26

• All parking meters along 11th Street between Walnut and Larimer streets will be offline.
• This will be the primary load-in day, with increased vehicle activity around the Tivoli Quad and surrounding hardscape areas as fencing, tents and other event equipment are delivered.
• Pedestrians should use extra caution when traveling around the Tivoli Quad.

Thursday, August 27

• All parking meters along 11th Street between Walnut and Larimer streets will be offline.
• All parking meters along Walnut Street between 10th and 11th streets will be offline.
• Event load-in will continue throughout the day.
• Food trucks and other event vehicles are expected in the area between approximately 2:30–4:30 p.m. Pedestrians should use caution when traveling through the area.
• Evening event activities will take place on the Tivoli Quad.

Friday, August 28

• All parking meters along 11th Street between Walnut and Larimer streets will be offline.
• All parking meters along Walnut Street between 10th and 11th streets will be offline.
• Crews will reset the event area in preparation for Saturday’s Grand Tasting. Impacts are expected to be minimal.

Saturday, August 29

• All parking meters along 11th Street between Walnut and Larimer streets will be offline.
• All parking meters along Walnut Street between 10th and 11th streets, plus five additional meters along Walnut Street across from 11th Street, will be offline.
• Walnut Street between 10th and 11th streets will be closed to outside traffic.
• The Denver Food & Wine Festival Grand Tasting will take place from noon–4 p.m.

Sunday, August 30

• All parking meters and streets will reopen.
• Event load-out will take place throughout the day, so the campus community may continue to see event-related vehicle and equipment activity around the Tivoli Quad.

Please plan accordingly and use caution when walking, biking or driving near the Tivoli Quad during event setup and breakdown.
