Warm Weather – Projects & Cooling System Outages

Cooling systems are now active in all Auraria Campus buildings except:

• Auraria Events Center
• Library
• Arts

Auraria Facilities was able to get the cooling systems in these buildings started, but due to a damaged chilled water line, the cooling in these buildings is not working at this time. The cooling will be off until the repair is able to be made.

The Auraria Facilities team will attempt to pre-cool the buildings in the mornings, and limit any heating to help with the temperature. They will also periodically monitor temperatures in the buildings using the remote building controls system and let the institutions know if temperatures reach unsafe levels in order to relocate activities.

Staff and faculty are welcome to bring small fans if that helps individuals to be more comfortable.
