Cherry Creek – Project B

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Replacing Air Handling Units and the HVAC system in Cherry Creek. The HVAC system is the original system that was installed in 1976. The new system will be more energy efficient which helps the campus meet the Auraria Campus Climate Action Plan goals. Occupants will experience a more comfortable environment in the building with more consistent airflow, heating, and cooling. 

Project Impacts & Updates

This project is occurring in phases that require closing parts of the building during construction.  

East Cherry Creek wing is closed through May 2026 for final Project C and Project B work including: Ceiling grid replacement , LED Lighting replacement, replacement of single pane windows with more energy efficient windows, and air handling unit replacement.
