2024 Timely Warning Archive
In compliance with the “Timely Notice” provisions of the Federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the Auraria Higher Education Center issued the following notices of crimes that occurred on the Auraria Campus. A “timely warning” is issued to the campus community via email when incidents of criminal activity as defined by the Clery Act occur on campus or within the immediate vicinity of campus, and when the criminal activity represents an ongoing threat to campus.

1-2-2024-Timely Warning: Attempted Arson in St. Cajetan’s
Timely Warning #1-2024
TYPE OF CRIME: Attempted Arson in St. Cajetan’s (1190 9th Street Denver, CO 80204).
REPORTED OFFENSE: Auraria Campus Police are investigating an attempted arson that caused minimal damage to St. Cajetan’s. An unknown person started a few small fires causing minor damage the carpet and a chair. The incident occurred between Monday, January 01, 2024 at 1:30 pm and Tuesday, January 02, 2024 at 10:02 am. There does not appear to be any ongoing threat to the safety of the campus.
SUSPECT: There is no suspect description at this time and we believe the suspect has left campus.
