Worker’s Compensation

Employees are automatically insured for injuries sustained in the course of employment. The Auraria Campus requires that any employee who has had a work-related incident which results in illness/injury, must:
- Report the incident immediately to their supervisor.
- Complete the First Report of Injury Form (loss of benefits and penalties may be imposed if this form is not completed and returned to the supervisor).
- Call the nurse triage line 1-855-542-4064, (Agency code HEAU).
- If treatment is needed, select a provider from the Designated Provider List.
- Print off the Claim/Billing information letter and give it to the designated provider on your first visit. Make sure you fill out your name, claim number provided by the nurse triage line, and date of injury. This will help with the billing process.
