MSU Denver Gina and Frank Day Health Institute Tower

ABOUT THE PROJECT

MSU Denver is constructing a new 70,000 square foot tower addition to the West Classroom Building. The building will house the majority of the Gina and Frank Day Health Institute program including 10 health-related academic departments that are training students for careers in nursing, nutrition, behavioral health, physical therapy, and social work.

This will allow MSU Denver to accept more students into in-demand programs like nursing and social work which currently turn away between 45-50% of qualified applicants. It will also provide space for interdisciplinary learning and research as well as offer community-serving clinics.

Project Impacts & Updates

Starting January 15, 2026, and until the completion of construction on the MSU Denver Gina and Frank Day Health Institute Tower (estimated summer of 2027), there will be impacts to the West Classroom and the surrounding construction areas. Detailed impacts can be found HERE.
